Greetings all,

I've just purchased a new OMS harness and wing. after a week in Coz I find the size of the wing abit large and plan to replace it with a smaller wing. It works great and I really like the BP/wing setup over my old Balance bc. I just want to be abit more streamlined in the water. Hollis has a 25 lb wing that I think will fit my OMS IQ Harness fine.

Can anyone give me some feedback on how durable and in function the Hollis wings are?

The OMS wing is very durable and I want to get something similar.

Note: I've listed the OMS 45lb wing for sale in the Marketplace if anyone wants a good deal on a new wing.

thx for your time,

SeaFlea

From what I've seen, any piece of dive gear that says "Hollis" on it, is built to last. I've laid hands on their regs, fins, and BCD's. Top notch stuff.

When mounting a Hollis wing onto another manufacturer harness/backplate, be sure and confirm the cam band slot distance apart to ensure compatibility between the two.

thx for your info. see if you agree with me, i'm using a OMS single tank adaptor. the adaptor has the slots for the cam bands so that won't change. I do need to make sure the grommet holes that mount the wing to the harness BP line up ok.

Nick I would assume the hole space-ing is fairly standardized and it should mate up fine. Could you confirm this for me?

thx, SeaFlea

Hole spacing is standard 11" on center - using an STA you will be more likely to match the two with better luck.

Thanks for your questions!
