Hi there, im here to seek a little advice.. im diving in the uk, in drysuit, with 8k, have hogarthian rig, am ten stone/160lb. like the new hollis single wings, so would the 25lb lift be enough, or should i go for the 38lb,! would rather dive the 25lb, but dont want to compromise lift for trim!!if so is this much bigger, would i notice it in trim.? is anyone out there using these wings, if so what are they like to dive, ive gone full circle over seven yrs, coming of twins, and going back to single tank diving again.. just dont want a collection of unused dive gear, want to use this wing here and abroad! any advice before i buy..

I have a Hollis 38 lb single wing. I weight 225 lbs and dive with steel HP 119 cu ft tanks. I trim out perfectly and have no problems. I got the bigger wing so that when I ocean dive I can carry my 19 cu ft pony bottle for emergencies and still have plenty of lift. When I dive in fresh water caverns here if Florida or shallower saltwater dives I don't carry my pony bottle and I still have no problems with trim. I hope this helps.

Thanks, a great help, your diving the same as me,including sling ocassionaly! this was exactly what i was thinking, i just dont think the 25lb will be quite enough,! ive just seen some deap sea supply wings, wich i havent seen here before, they look pretty slick too,

I have talked to people who own deep sea supply wings and they say they are great. I have been diving my Hollis wing now for about a year and a half and have nothing but great things to say about it as well.
