Hello to my new friends in the underwater world. I have always dreamed of diving and now I have my advanced open water certification. I will resume studies for the rescue diving certification to be more prepaired. I stopped off in the caribbean side of Pnama for a night stay while working and 3 weeks later I have dived 18 times and obtained my advanced training. I know it will be time in the water with experienced divers to really learn, but this is my start. Thank you all for the welcome.

I started diving in Panama near Fort San Larenzo on the carribean side back in 1971. No real training then just get into the water and dive. Also did a few dives in Lake Gatun, those were spooky with the palm tree trunks still standing in the water surrounded by green alge masses.
Anyway, glad your certified. Keep diving.
