HOG doesn't seem to be progressing...if anything they're going in the opposite direction...one stop shopping at HOG is no longer an option...

For that price range...you're much better off with DGX Gears/Dive Rite/Deep Six/DRIS House Brand...order of preference is personal choice...personally...I like/use DGX Deep Six variant...and DGX Gears for every thing else...you can pay more $$$$ any where...whether or not you're getting better value for $$ spent is questionable...

I'd be surprised if HOG is still viable in five years...

You may be right...I wouldn't bet on it...

We can re-visit our personal speculation in a few years...or maybe sooner...

There are no crystal balls...by the time this virus burns itself out...there may be lots of vacancies...I wouldn't bet on any of them...

If this virus ends up causing major corporations/airlines/hospitality industry giants/cruise lines...etc...to fold...what chance does any small cottage industry have...scuba or otherwise...

You may however may be right about one thing...the small operators who are fully in the black...may outlast the giants who right now are carrying huge overheads...as well as huge debt loads...
