So it came brand new coming from dealer last week. I tested on arrival for free flow only. It was OK. Today, I took it to a pool with my double for weight check, I noticed when I inhaled or slowly purge, there is a high pitch, exactly whistle kind of noise coming out of 2nd stage, loud enough to be annoying. So I did some diagnose and found the sound is coming from the metal barrel. It seems like when air is coming out slowly, ie when inhale or purge slowly, the metal of the barrel makes this noise. If air comes out fast enough, there is no noise. I know it is not normal because my two other HOG 2nd stages don't do that, but they are both D1 (silver+red). Any of you have seen the same issue? If is small adjustment, I prefer to do it myself isntead of sending it back and out of 2nd stage for 2 weeks.

sounds like a harmonic, first complaint I've had with my second stage. Hover I have seen before on other brands with similar designs. I think that flipping the spring in the second stage will fix it.

But I am at the Santa Clara show all weekend, drop by and call, I will get you in and fix your reg for you if you like
