Hey guys,

I came down to the Keys the weekend before DEMA for the first East
coast Historical Diving Society USA convention. http://www.hds.org/

It was a pretty great conference, some really interesting discusions
on NOAA and the Monitor marine sanctuary, re-breather history,
Japanese diving history, and they had a great talk by Nick Toth a
artist in tarpon springs that still builds these beautiful copper
diving helmets.

All that was Saturday but.... Sunday they had the good stuff!!

They did a Mk-V experience dive (I had not had the chance to try one
out until now...) and a Morse light weight rig.. Man what a great
experience. I had such a great time trying them out, then afterword
one of the designers of the habitat at jules lodge
http://www.jul.com/ took a few of us on a tou of the facility, an
underwater hotel now... Just a great day.

I will convert the photos to a smaller size and post them shortly, I
am looking forward to seeing some of the guys at DEMA also!!

Talk to you later,

Jeff
