How far of a walk from where you parked Mark? the trail doesn't look like it would be much fun to haul bailout bottles up/down if it was very long.

The actual distance is pretty short. Maybe 50 meters. It's just steep and overgrown. I made a separate trip up/down with my bailout and camera. At least the ground was dry when I went. If it was a rainy, muddy day the trail could be dangerous. Realistically, it's no big deal. I'd say the drive out to Sooke is a much bigger pain.
