I was having the same problem on SB and another site I go to frequently. I googled how to stop it and I found the following page...

Probably the best thing to do is to remove yourself as an admin. Nothing can be "accidentally" installed if you don't have privileges.

For me, it was on SB and another site I frequent daily (sports related.) So far, that fix has stopped it on both sites. Fingers crossed.
