High/Low season in Roatan

Hi all!!!
I´m planing to go diving in mid May .It seems as though May and early June are low season in Roatan, but the months just before and after this are high season. Does anyone know why? The weather doesn't appear to be bad in May/early June .Is there any changes regarding scuba diving?

The seasons aren't determined by the quality of diving. Fewer divers tend to go during the summer months because they have more vacation options. Scuba diving is excellent year round.
