What dictate the color temperature of HID light? Is it the bulb itself or the rest of the circuits? I asked because I notice my HOG is cooler (blueish) white and my buddies Halcyon is warmer (yellowish) white in color. I kind of prefer the warmer color because it seems to bright out the red side of the spectrum better. So I just want to know if changing the bulb will archieve that? Not that I will throw away $200 to swap out the bulb, just curious.

the HID light gets its color from the different type of gas in the bulb, which the electric arc excites as it crosses from one side to the other.
