Thought I'd say hello before I start embarrassing myself on the boards at large... 
, have been lurking and reading the forums lately. Planning on traveling abroad to do my Divemaster/Instructor Internship sometime during the next couple of years. Did a lot of diving locally when I was a kid, did the mixed gas/bounce/sat program at the old Commercial Diving Center (what became College of Oceaneering, etc. in Wilmington, CA), avid holiday free-diver, surfer and seasonal beach lifeguard for a quarter decade. I'm really looking forward to getting into diving again and doing something constructive with my life aside from work/eat/sleep/repeat in the city. Thanks for all the experience and commentary here, look forward to much more and being in the fray.
