Hi everyone,
I'm new here on ScubaBoard, I've been out of diving since September 2006 when I was hit by a drunk driver in a pickup truck while riding my bike home from work.

I had ankle fusion done just ten days ago and am hoping that within the next twelve months I will not only be walking again, but diving too. If not as an instructor then at least for fun sometimes.

I am aware of some of the (possible) risks involved, but no one has any solid proof and hey, if we were supposed to be underwater wouldn't we have gills?

Cheers

Welcome aboard scubaboard. I ride bikes and can relate to your story, sorry about your accident.
Hope you get back into diving soon. with 2500-5000 dives under your belt you can probably give us quite a bit of tips and advice here.
