Just completed my Open Water 2 weeks ago, and am half way through my Advanced Open Water prior to our vacation to Thailand in March.
This scuba thing is addictive.. now looking at regulators to buy. Do you suggest going for the Atomic B2, or the Scubapro MK25/S600?

Thanks

Hi, Jason, and welcome to diving and to ScubaBoard.

You might want to put your question about regulators either in the regulator subforum, or in the Orca Bait subforum. You'd be sure to get some good input either place.

My viewpoint . . . I love my MK25/S600s, but I'm swapping them out for HOG regs. Be aware that the MK25 may not be the ideal cold water regulator. I've never had problems with mine in our weather and water conditions, but an environmentally sealed and/or diaphragm reg may be the better choice, if you are doing local diving.
