Got certified in Monterey, CA last August. First time under water in the ocean was the most amazing experience ever! Been poking around here since not long after, trying to learn as much as I can and get my fix in between dives. Safe to say it doesn't help. The more I read the more I want to be under water somewhere. I'm hooked!

Thanks for the welcomes! I've had the opportunity to do a few dives in Malaysia and Thailand, and definitely appreciate the warmth, clarity, and abundance of life there. Coming back to California I've appreciated the challenge and opportunity to work on my skills. And there's something special about finding things in 2-3ft vis, whether it's a nudi or your buddy!
