Where on the East Coast are you? I'm from Melbourne myself and got certified at the start of the year (so a n00bie diver also :) )

im about 30 minutes south of coffs harbour a place called nambucca heads all the diving ive done is at coffs at south solitary island heeps of fish and reef to see theres lots of grey nurse sharks manta rays went last sunday saw a school of salmon that was huge and under it was king fish as big as me also turtles and lots of nemo fish enenemies went diving a about a month ago with a group from melbourne one fellow owns a dive store there he wanted to see the sharks and took some great pics anyway nice to meet you all the best
