Hi guys . I am thinking to get a certification for scuba diving , which they call open water diving . My question is , how long does it take to become a commercial diver ?

There are some diving job out there for cleaning the bottom of the boat ,and doesn't say anything about what type of certification need .

Commercial diving typically has very little to do with scuba diving; check out the Commercial Divers forum here on SB.

Cleaning boat hulls doesn't require a commercial diver... assuming you're talking about private, recreational boats and not oil tankers or something.
