Hi.
I'm currently working on my NAUI beginning diving certification. I stumbled across this board when looking at dive computers and software that is compatible with the Mac OS/X. I'm eager to begin the sport of diving, and I hope to become a certified Advanced Diver.
I am a long time resident of Florida (moved down with my parents when I was 1), and I have always had an interest in learning to SCUBA dive. I am fascinated by the undersea world, and the creatures that live there. This fascination was fueled further by watching David Attenbrough's series "Blue Planet" and of course reading National Geographic and watching Jacques Cousteau as a child. I want to experience the wonder for myself, and perhaps take away a better understanding and appreciation of this vast, unknown, and unexplored territory of our planet.
I hope to meet other divers who share this passion and learn more about the sport through these forums.
