I'm a liveaboard sailor and got a PADI qualification about six years ago so I could recover snagged anchors and so on, although my first ever dive was in the 1970s with a guy called Paul Williams. I taught him to skydive and he took me scuba diving.
We lost contact ages ago and I'd like to re-establish, he and his wife Stephanie both worked for Comex in Aberdeen, Paul was a saturation diver in the North Sea, Royal Navy before that.
