Diving newb here. Not certified at the moment but looking forward to be SSI certified in a month's time. I'm a regular visitor to the forums and probably picked up a lot of diving info from this board, youtube and a few other sites as well outside of what's in the SSI OWD-R book. Not sure the path I'd be taking after getting advanced certified (after 24dives for SSI I think.) Probably sticking to recreational.

Using a frog indigo 30# ali-bp/w with a hog configured webbing, diving single tank of course. Currently researching the type of fins that suits my need/style. Perhaps one which makes me look like a merman would be wonderful
(LOOK A WHALE!!! oh wait nevermind, that's just him.)
The DIY section of the forum caught my attention and I've already finishing my home (read workshop) made SS backplate, just for giggles and I do like custom logo on my stuff... ironically, still havent broken into my frog set up yet.. haha. Yea I'm a DIY gearhead.
Figured i'd say "HI!" here on finding out the "Introduction & Greets" section after making a few posts already.
