Well I have been lurking for a little while and I decided to join. I live in North Louisiana and me a my wife of 11 years both finished our open water certfications last weekend and now were ready to start our adventures. This seems to be a very nice forum with some really nice folks so I hope to be around for awhile.

Glad you're here. You'll have to let folks know whether you intend to mainly dive locally, or like to vacation dive (e.g.: a trip to Bonaire or Cozumel).

I definitely plan to travel but I wanna get a few dives under my belt first. My divemaster actually owns a home in cozumel and I plan to make that my first trip. Im really looking forward to seeing the world from underwater.
