I live in Vicenza now and dive quite a bit with some of the Italian clubs up here near Lago di Garda etc.

Esears we dove a quarry locally, I can't remember the name off the top of my head. A buddy and I tried to dive lago de Garda but just couldn't get it together to do it.

TNRonin, you are probably talking about Baita al Lago or Castello di Godega. Local quarry here with the 5 Euro entrance fee per vehicle, unlimited diving and depth to about 30-35m depending on the water flow.
A few of us typically do about 5-10 dives a month here year round either in the lakes/quarries, or out on the Italian coast or Slovenia/Croatia.

Actually it was Fontavina or something like that. This was in 82 mind you.
