Great site -- thanks. If I allow email availability, are members inundated with direct email? Any "data" on this?

I love shorediving: No boat crowds, greater ecosystem experience...etc.

I currently "outreach" to locate Bonair-type shorediving ("shorediving.com" is great site, but limited by data.) WITH luxury to average accomodations BUT great food is my goal! Buddy dive and Lions was very good IMO. I seek comparable or better. Fancy food is not the issue, just quality is needed.

Not as picky with water temp but the warmer the better. We will leave for a 15 day trip in February, 2005.

Thanks for your site and time.

Hi Shorediver,

Welcome to the 'Board.

I have chosen not to give my email address out on the 'Board. The Private Message (PM) system is really well thought out and will cover most of your "off the air" discussions with other 'Board members. If you build up a rapport with someone, you can always PM them your email address.

I also don't subscribe with an automated email update, as that used to flood my Inbox (when I contributed a lot!). The User Control Panel (User CP) above will show you all the updates to threads you have posted on. You can also click "New Posts" to see what has happened since your last visit.

PM me if you would like some tips or info. [Click on my name (shoaldiversa), a drop down menu will appear, then click Send a private message to ... ].

Cheers,

Andrew

Hi ShoreDiver.

I grew up in your neck of the woods, though I am on the SF Peninsula now. I'm itching to do a shore dive up that way. Maybe this summer. Do you ever make it down to Monterey?

Use to live in CA and have some GREAT memories from your area!!

Welcome!

I think our new friend needs to learn about South Florida shore diving...

Welcome to the board and the sport. Be sure to check out the beach/shore diving threads in the Florida Conch Diver forum. You've got Miami nightlife and some great reefs right off the beach.

Welcome to the board!
