Hi im Holly, AOW diver here in chilly old england. Im hoping to find more info on solo diving, the only trainig body ive found so far is SDI so any additional info would be great. Hoping to get over to the States eventually for some sweet diving. Just got back from egypt and have the travel bug, anyways HI ALL !!!

Hello Holly, what part of chilly old england are you sitting in hoping?

With regards solo certs, SDI is the only agency with it on their sport curriculum. I can certainly send you a course outline and some related bumf... send a PM with an email.

hey Doppler, Im from the south west, Cornwall, the diving is some of the best in the UK as were a really coastal county, the waters a warm 13 degrees at the mo, we will reach 18 max hopefully

Mark Powell runs the SDI Solo/Self Sufficient Diver course fairly regularly and he has a very good reputation;

Decompression theory, twinset familliarisation, solo diver, CPR, first aid, oxygen admin, rescue diver

I second Mark... nice guy and very thorough and thoughtful instructor... has to be a good guy, he is Welsh.
