Hi from cdiver2 in Yap/Palau

Well things did not go as planed (more later).
Yap we did see the Mantas Ms cdiver close enough to touch one. Plenty of sharks on the shark dive. Corals so so.
Palau GREAT wall dives with lots of marine life large and small, also lots of coral, would recommend it.
Things not planed in brief. Yap inner ear infection wiped out three days diving.
Palau Collapsed on boat returning after dives. Put on O2, ambulance to hospital, IV to re hydrate and a 2 1/2 chamber ride. Dr's verdict, a combination of things. Heat stroke, dehydration and a nitrogen build up. No bend but no more diving until I get home and get a full check out. full report when we get home.

Wow, my Sympathy for you . . .get well quick and I hope you get another chance to go there again soon! I was treated there in Koror by a US Navy Corpsman, after coming down with Dengue Fever in Papua New Guinea. How was your stay & treatment there at the Chamber and Hospital?

Wow, that is bad news!
It was good to meet you here in Yap and i felt bad about the ear problem....
but to hear about the problems in Palau! Dang, that is tough news.

Hi Mike well as I said alls well that ends well I'm alive . It was great to meet you pity we had such a short time, next one will be longer and at a slower pace.

Treatment was very good. No problems with payment (i expected there would be ) but they took the DAN card and said OK
