Wow, I was raised in Marion County (Jasper). I grew up and still have alot of family there (Mineral Springs, East Valley Road, Sequatchie, Whitwell). I spent all my summers at the dam, the cave, and Hale's Bar Dam. Anyway, there are only 2 dive shops in Chattanooga and I frequent both. I was certified at Leisure Time dive. I have a co-worker who is an instructor at Choo Choo dive. Gary at LTD is a great guy and Steve Neuman at CCD is also a great guy. I believe you could flip a coin and be OK at either. Visit them both and talk with the guys and go with who you are most comfortable with.
