Hi folks - stinger to mac via parallels

Hi there,
I just wanted to post my success attempt to connect my Suunto Stinger to my MacBook Pro.

Having read forums all morning I decided to install Suunto Dive Manager 3.0.0 on my Parallels equipped mac, running windows XP.

I am using a Belkin USB Serial adapter F5U103 - download latest driver from Belkin

Make sure the Stinger is in pc-tr mode and connect, then start Dive Manager.

It worked for me and hope this helps someone, somewhere, sometime...

Congratulations on your success! That is probably some very helpful information to others. It will probably get lost in this forum however. You should look at one of the other forums to post it so it wont get lost in the introductions and greets and welcome to scubaboard.
