I've only been diving for a little over a year, and don't get to go nearly enough. I decided that I wanted to learn after a snorkeling trip in Cozumel! I love it! I have worked in the education field for 23 years. I just recently discovered your board, and decided to "dive in"! I'm looking forward to "meeting' you all!

Well, after viewing your profile, and seeing that you rate yourself as an "average" diver, I surely am glad I put beginner!! I am new at message boards too, so I hope you all will give me a break while I figure out how to find my way around!

After this weekend I'm not sure average applies! I've had better weekends. Ratings are relative and pretty much useless to me. What one things is average may be super or terrible to the next guy. I just try to have fun and get a few good pictures.
This is a very friendly board, Just jump on in and if you screw up someone will tell you nicely.

You'll have a good time here. Lots of good info here and you'll meet a lot of good people. Get involved with a local dive club if time permits. This may increase your chances of getting some dive time.
