I joined this site to get answers to some of my questions about training. I'm located in Michigan and would like to do some on-line training. I see that there are several types of e-training such as PADI and NAUI. My son is in the Navy and is taking lessons as well, so can anyone tell me which course I should purchase? I do intend to enroll with my local Dive Shop as well. They offer a discount for those who already passed an e-training course.

Hi Whill,

For sure the E-learning option is a great way to save time on your Open Water Course and lets you really develop at your own pace. We (BLUE SEASON BALI) are a PADI Career Development Center situated in Bali, Indonesia and we have numerous student come through our doors having completed the online components and their level of knowledge is at a very high standard so the theory must work well.

If our student signs up for the e-learning option we discount the price that they have paid online for the component, so ask your dive shop what deal they can do for you!

Hope this helps in some little way
