Hi all, I've just joined the site. I hope to find it useful and interesting, maybe get some ideas about where to go and what to see - and what to expect when I get there.
 I have a question for those who've already been to the Red Sea. I've booked a Reefs and Wrecks liveaboard trip for early next April, which includes the opportunity to go night diving. It will be my first experience of night diving. What should I know about e.g. keeping contact with my buddy, how to avoid injury to myself or reef critters, how to get found after the dive, ...?
Also, what should I beware of in the way of potentially dangerous critters?
Any other tips would also be very welcome.

Thanks for your help :)

I haven't been to the Red Sea, but your night diving questions aren't location dependent. If you have time, I would suggest either the advanced open water class or night specialty before going so you have guided answers to your questions. Regardless, they should answer all of your questions pre-dive, but most people I've instructed prefer having a night experience in a smaller group before doing one on vacation in a larger group.
