Hey everyone -

Found this site through random internet searching and I must say I'm glad I did! I've already found multiple posts / threads that have answered questions and provoked some good thoughts and plans for what to focus on. My future husband and I are in the process of re-learning SCUBA (each of us did it 15-20 years ago!) in anticipation of our upcoming vacation to Belize in October.

Hopefully this trip will be the beginning of many shared fun adventures (especially as we'll be also getting married down there)!

We both grew up in Massachusetts and did our original certifications in the 'tropical' waters off of Cape Ann and Maine. We'll be re-certifying ourselves here and then heading to warmer climes. I work in the biotech field and he is an electrician. Not sure what else to say aside from thank you for this site and for everyone sharing their experiences and advice. Its quite a rich resource!
