hey guys,
i am no longer in st thomas, usvi. i have moved to samoa, and am loving it. this is such a beautiful place, and the diving is mind blowing. anyway, i just wanted to say hello to everyone since i haven't been on here for a while. i hope everyone is doing well, and able to dive regularly. i'll see you guys around the board.

Samoa, is that a island in the south pacific ocean?
Here North of the polar circle it`s a lot of diving, cold as h... tho,but good diving ;)

wow!!! where exactly are you cold water divers? i thought the arctic circle thing was a joke! yes i am in the south pacific. samoa is located just between fiji and tahiti. the diving is excellent, and the rain season is only two months a year. that's hard to beat for the tropic's. i am working with the gov to try to get some protected area's defined and enforced, as i am the only marine biologist in the entire country, and they have some beautiful reefs here.
i got chill bumps just reading you guys' posts. burrrrrrrrrrrrrr, for real!!!!!

and hey sberanek, my old roommate from when i lived in china, was from naperville. he went to u of i, and grad. with an engineering degree.
