Got my Inon d-180 in last week. That said here is my question. I have been using two xd256 cards and change them out between dives get around 77 in SHQ. Going to Utila next week and want to do 3 tanks a day and not open up the camera/housing etc. If I buy a 512 compact flash card and load it and a xd256 card, All fresh batterys in strobe and camera will I have the power to do three dives and store all photos. Based on around 70 photos per dive. Thanks Oh ya oly 5050z pt015 ulcs.

Yep! In Roatan recently, I would do the 2 boat dives then a shore dive all on one set of batteries with a 512CF and the 32XD card...want one of those 256's! The only thing I did was turn off the monitor for long intervals between shots, but that may not have even been necessary since the camera goes into sleep mode after a few minutes to save power. It will also depend on each photo as some take longer to write to the card than others. You'll just have to try it yourself, but basically, you should be OK.

Hey there Domino!
If I don't show my camera around between dives I can get 3 charters out of my batteries. I have a 512 CF and a 256XD in the camera all the time and that is enough for 3 dives too. So it sounds like your set!
Aloha,
Lisa
