Hi, I'm joining the community to talk gear, vacations, safety, meetups, and more! I started diving in Feb. 2011, and have gone through AOW, Rescue, Nitrox, and AAUS Scientific Diver training in California. The diversity of underwater fauna and the opportunity to study marine life has been my main motivation for diving. The responses on these forums seem really helpful, I'm looking forward to being part of this community!

Hi and welcome!! Wow sounds like you have done a lot in the last year and a bit, I've just started learning to dive for a similar reason to you as well as the unbelievable experience of just being able to spend so much time underwater
