Hi

I hope I'm posting in the right area (newbie here). I am planning on buying a camera soon, and I was wondering if I should go in for the Hero3 (White) or the Hero2 (with a housing). I am on a tight budget, so other Hero3 cameras are a bit of a stretch (especially the Hero 3 Black).

I'm an amateur photographer, and while I know the Hero 3 White has lower megapixels, I don't plan on taking huge prints (I shoot 5MP even on land). The main drawback of the Hero3 White (that I know of) is the lack of a RAW mode - so I can't do white balance fixes on a computer.

Has anyone used the Hero3 white edition? Could you please give me some recommendations? Or are there any other cameras (non-GoPro) that you would recommend at my budget levels?

Thanks
