I know...it's not an underwater pic but he was watching Beast diving in that 55º water...does that count?

That's the pitiful emu with no feathers at Lost Lake! It was taken with a Olympus C-4040 digital camera. I was practicing with the camera while Beast was diving in that stock pond. I squirted him with disinfectant before he got back in the van!

Ok.. inquiring minds have to know...

Wot the heck was Beast doing diving there in the first place?

Eeewwwwwwwwwww!:potty:

BTW... new camera arrived... now just waiting on the delivery of the housing & strobe (which should be here by week's end.)

I think I need to have Ol' Beast re-evaluated! But you know how it is when you've got new dive gear and just HAVE to try it out!

My strobe arrived so I'm ready to rock! Ya'll got the Ike DS-50 strobe, didn't you? I think I'm looking forward to the overall smaller package of the digital set-up as much as the digital features itself! I may miss a few shots but no more big mad spider double strobe arms for me!

Think you'll get some u/w photos soon?

We're hoping to give the whole set up a "test drive" prior to the Red Sea trip, but it's going to be a close thing: (1) we don't have the gear yet; (2) Pearce is travelling this week & next. :(

Life is sooooo complicated!
