HERE is their assortment of Canon housing O Rings at $15.95 each.

HERE is their Sea & Sea O Ring grease at $6.95. It is supposed to be safe for Canon, and some other brand O rings. I have been using it on my Canon G10 housing.

Gilligan,

Just to be clear, you use the Sea and Sea grease for your WP-DC28 housing? The Canon directions say "Only Use Canon Grease." I lost my canon grease, so I was thinking of using the Sea and Sea. A few people have warned against it. You're the Canon guru so I'll take your word. Thanks

Matt

Been using it for over a year with no problems. What you have to be careful of is any grease that breaks down the O-ring by making it gummy and/or stretching it.

Canon won't tell you to use any grease but theirs for economic and liability reasons. Same for Sea & Sea with their products.

I use the Sea & Sea grease in the yellow tube with the blue top.

Read this LINK which states the Sea & Sea grease is suitable for Canon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sea & Sea and Sony underwater camera housing o-rings.
