First and most importantly lets get to the suit...

I have read everyones comments on the suit, and 99% of you like it because it is so comfortable. Will it keep me warm though? My dives will be in water 50° and warmer say to 65°...

Do I have to worry about the suit compressing and getting cold? I won't be diving too deep, definately less than 100 ft.

Will this suit fall apart? I have read about the velcro issue and such... I don't care about looks... if it pills I don't care... if the seems fall apart, then we have a problem...

Finally fit... I have heard some say get one size smaller then the sizing chart? Anyone go by this? I am 5'8, 160lbs, 32 waist, 38" chest... according to the chart I am a MD except for my height... My brother is 5'6 and 155lbs, 32" waste, 38" chest... obviously a problem according to the size chart.

Now about Leisure Pro... I think they have the best price... Anyone ever talk their price down? I am going to be buying 3 of these wetsuits... hey, I am a poor boy, and so are my brothers..

Anyways, thank you, if you actually have time for this thread...

Cheers, Dunk

The Hyper stretch is a really good suit. It does pill but it will hold together. I have been told that the stretchier the material the more it will compress at depth. Will it be a problem for you....dunno, it depends on the person. My wife wears a 7/5 hyper. and has no problems in 52 F water.

L.P. I have never tried to talk them down and with the volume of sales and already low prices I doubt if you would be able to. However, don't let that detour you from calling them and trying. It is hard for them to say 'NO' if you never ask.

A 7mm FJ will be chilly in 50 degree water. I'd look at a 5mm full suit, or even a 7mm full, instead. Maybe even a semi-dry.

i have tried to talk leisure pro down when i bought about $1500 worth of equipment. the only thing i got were two free regulator bags. they know their prices are the lowest so they are not very flexible.

I use the 7/5 hyperstreetch jumpsuit with a 7 hooded vest in 53F water, and am fine.

.............with most of Scubasean's statement , except I use the hooded jumpsuit. I find it a lot warmer and if the hood is too warm I just pull it off ( or in reality pull it back).
