Hello all. I am an experienced diver (age 50) with a lot of experience in the past with Nikonos equipment, recently getting back into the water after a job induced lull. I own a Nikon D200 camera and would like to get it housed and underwater. I own several Nikonos SB105 strobes, sync cords and dual synch cords. Is anyone familiar with housings and if any allow the use of these strobes with the housed d200. I'd like to avoid buying new strobes !

Thanks !

Sorry to hear that. Can't remember but if the SB-105 can work as a slave without the cords you might be able to make it work. Does the D200 allow full manual operation in a housing?

There are several ways you can go. I am not sure if anyone is still selling D200 housings since the arrival of the D300. Ikelite has housings that will let you run the SB105 in manual mode but you might need to get different sync cords. Certainly, you can get a housing and a converter from Matthias that will let you run the SB105 in full ttl mode. How much do you want to spend?
