my bc leaks. the bladder no longer holds air. what can i do to reseal it?,,, or is it finished?:(

find the leak first. then ask for repair advice for the material which is leaking.

You can find ways to seal the leak(s). Not sure I would recommend that type of action. You need to expose the bladder and check it out. I repaired a small leak in an old BC bladder several years ago. Over time, I bought a new BC. Before you start, you need to understand why the leak occurred. If you can not resolve the issue, you will continue to have problems.

I would consider buying a new BC. No one enjoys equipment failure. I find the repair will fail when you need the BC most.

Good Luck - Tom

If it's old, ditch it....I had to do that to my 21 year old one last year........used a couple(Seaquest & SP) old ones I had laying around the house & finally ordered a new one, love it---nothing like a new toy to play with............

Find out where it's leaking first. It's very common for the exhaust valves to get a little sand in them and slowly leak. A simple cleaning may be all that is needed. Bladders can be repaired but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble.

i checked the valve, it's good.
i filled the sink and air comes through the nylon bladder, everywhere. hundredes of tiny bubbles. guess she's done for. bummer.
