I am trying to resize my profile pic using Elements. No matter how small I resize it I am told that the file is too large. Help!

The size of the file is 2000 x 2000 and I resized it to 250 x 250 (72 dpi). When I look at the file size info on my desktop, it stays that it is 45.3KB. When I tried to upload that same file it says that it is 124KB.

Interesting...it told me the file size was too big, but uploaded it anyway. ok then... Thanks!
