Help with MMII and YS60 TTL/s

I just perchased a second hand Morormarine II EX with a YS60 TTL/s strobe but cant seem to get the strobe to fire. Can anyone help?

I could be doing somthing completly wrong as I am a complete novice when it comes to cameras and am starting to think that I am in over my head on this one.

This would be hard to diagnose without a known fuctional stobe and camera.
The only easy fix is really battery.

You can take the electronics out with 4 little screws in most cases if the strobe doesn't fire the camera was flooded and the circuit board is fried. I can fix it if its not to bad $100.00 If I cant no charge. Or you can sell me the camera for $25.00
