I am looking for some help with a dive in Indian Arm,,,well not so much about the dive as the artifacts we have found.
There is what appears to be an old mine shaft in the wall above the water line,,20- 30 minutes north of Seacove Marina on the north side of the Arm.

It goes back some 35 feet to a dead end but there is a hole that drops vertically down this shaft halfway back ish. It is said to go down to 80 feet where its blocked off with wood or planks or something

We have dove that site several times and have found all kinds of Old artifacts from wheels to bottles to BIG concrete Tubs kind of things.

We can't seem to find out much about the history of this site, we had hoped to find a name or any writing that would help us develop a lead,,,but Nada to date.

Old stories have the tunnel go from Indian Arm thru the mountain to Britannia Beach mine,,,,hardly believable, seeing as its 20 miles and under a huge mountain range

We're hoping that someone else has dove this site and may have some info to share???

Thanks
