My husband and I will be celebrating 25 years as a couple and 20 years of wedded bliss in December 2017. We have always wanted a big adventure to celebrate. So our first choice at this point is a liveaboard to the Socorro Island. We will have another nine to fourteen days beforehand to visit another destination. We want this to be mainly diving ...so fellow SBs where would you suggest ?
The obvious option would be the Mexican Carribean coast , but would look at Belize or Costa Rica if the diving there is significantly better than Cozumel. Where would people who have dived some or all of these regions recommend ? We drive al the time at home so are not too keen in Bonaire and self guided shore diving.Or should we just head straight to Baja California and spend the whole time there ? My life ambition is to dive with sea lions and dolphins...but we love big things and small stuff for photos and are fine with currents.
