Help with Dive operators in Puerto Plata

I am not sure where exactly you will be in Puerto Plata. I know couple dive shops in Sosua, about 20 minutes from Puerto Plata city, and they might arrange a transportation for you as well (not sure about that part).
Merlin diving - German owned shop, Northern Coast diving - not sure about the owner now and Scuba Elite and I believe Kerry, the owner is from UK.
As for weather and diving conditions, you might know that November is still the official hurricane season here in DR, so all depends on the storm activities before you come here and during your vacation time. Also the north (Atlantic) side is not as calm as the south (Caribbean) coast. There are many nice dive sites around Sosua, I dove there for couple years while living there. I still have some info on my old website I had, so you can look at some of them to get more info.
