Hi
My soon to be wife and I are going traveling for 4 months as a honeymoon and want to end our trip in Fiji for me to dive and my partner to relax before we return to the rat race. We will be there at the end of October 2011 for around 10 nights. We do have a budget but can be a little flexible if we think its worth it.

The problem I am having is deciding where to stay and where to dive, we are going to spend 3/4 nights somewhere around Beqa before we leave so I can do the shark feeding dive. That leaves around 7 nights for us to explore another part of Fiji.

We are not looking for high end luxury, just clean, comfortable, good food a nice beach for my partner to relax and good diving for me. I have Looked at Kavadu as i would love the possibility of diving with Mantas on The Great Astrolabe Reef and also Taveuni as i have read The Somosomo Strait is well worth diving, especially Rainbow Reef and The great White Wall. I would appreciate any advise, tips or recommendations any one may have to help with this one.

I would quite happily stay in a tent on the beach and Dive for 10 days but my fiancee would kill me so i need to find somewhere with a beach and other non diving activities so she will have the time of her life as well.

Thank You

Moody's Namena
Koromakawa (Ono Island near Kadavu)
Nakia Resort (Taveuni)
Star Fish Blue (house rental near Wananavu Resort)

My choice would be Matava Resort on Kadavu.

Secluded honeymoon Bures hidden away on the hillside with ocean views.

Year round manta dive site.

White sandy beach. Kayaking, surfing, trekking, fishing, cultural activities, bird watching, snorkelling.....

Great value seven night packages.

Environmentally friendly resort with terrific food. :D
