Hi all

Just hoping someone might be able to help if they have experienced a similar issue.
I have had a G10 housing for about 3 years and use it fairly regularly without issue.

But this weekend it developed issues. I used it for a dive on Saturday (in 36 degree water) without issue. Then I took the batteries out (4 AA for the screen) to charge them, and the next day, the housing OLED screen wouldn't light up and the orange battery light flashes. I have tried with rechargeable AA, Duracell, and Energizer batteries. Same result.

I have checked that the 2 cables from the tray are plugged into the remote plug and AV out. I have verified that the AA batteries are oriented correctly and that the plug from the battery pack is plugged into the housing.
I really need to resolve this as I am leading a dive trip to Little Cayman in 11 days and need to be able to video my group.

Any suggestions? Ideas? Anyone seen this before?

Thanks in advance

Did it work out? I have the same housing with the Canon GF 10 inside. I had the same issue on several occasions. The first time it happened I was already under water, so that was a bummer. Now I always check after inserting the recharcble batteries that it actually does work. Sometimes it does, sometimes not. I open the housing roll around the batteries and try again. Up to now this solved the issue. It is annoying you can't check it before closing the housing again. So it seems to be an issue with having a good contact between the batteries and the electrodes.
