Hi all,

I would consider myself a real 'noob' in the world of underwater photography. However, I do have a lot of experience with landscape and nature photography.
At the end of this year I will probably go to Norway and hopefully there I will get the chance to snorkel with killer whales. If this will happen, I really want some good quality pictures of such an experience (and also minimal printable 40x30cm).
However the problem is that I do not want to spend too much money (thinking of max usd 500-1000) on an underwater system, since I will probably only buy it for this experience and will not use it 90% of of the time.

I have done a bit of research and saw the Olympus TG-2 camera with the Olympus FCON-T01 fisheye lens. My question is: would you guys recommend such an camera? Or are there better alternatives?

Thanks and all help is appreciated!

I think the TG-2 or TG-820 with a housing is a great camera. They both also do 1080i video. Couple that with a Inon strobe and Itorch video light, and you will be taking really nice pictures as well as video..
