My brother is now paralyzed from the bends that developed while he was diving. He does not have insurance so the family has been paying for his care with our own funds. We have reached the point where the funds have been depleted but he still needs to get the aggressive physical therapy that would give him the best chance to regain functionality. Is anyone aware of organizations/groups/individuals that can help get my brother the remainder of the desperately needed treatment? All the experts have told us that there is a two year window for victims who have the bends to regain whatever functionality they will. My brother has about 10 months left in that two year window.
