Hi guys,

Need advice on choosing between the Pros and Originals. I was initially intending to get the Tan Deltas, but Bob advised me to start off with the Pros since I'll be getting my first force fin. So now I’m debating between the Pros and Originals because the 30 30 30 offer on the Originals now is really good, especially with free international shipping and all.

I’ve been diving for 10 years and was a competitive swimmer until a few years back. I’m using a 3mm flexible soft bootie. I do lots of underwater photography and like to dive slow, usually in the middle or at the rear of the group. But of course I would like to have a breeze kicking against strong currents as well. Given the above, how much of a difference would the Pros make in comparison with the Originals? And which one would you guys recommend me going with?

Thanks in advance!

Since you have the kick down and enough strength in your legs I would get the Pros.
You would get a better deal now on the Originals but, I promise you that you'll be under water on the next dive and kick yourself that you didn't get a fin with a bit more stiffness. I dive all of the Force Fin models and the Pro is a great one to start with if you have spent a fair amount of time under water.

Thanks uncleavi! You basically answered the core of my question - I was wondering about whether the originals might be too "soft" for my experience level and finning style. Thanks for the clarification. I'll go with the Pros and bungee then. Btw which mode of shipping would be least costly for international shipping?

teem, if you want to narrow the price margin, I'm helping a shop clear out old stock. Pro's in blue or black, $150 plus shipping.

I'd agree with avi, as you already have kicking and leg muscles developed, go with the Pro's.

Thanks for the great help!
