Have you had a look at the Cozumel forum yet?

Check out bayadventures.com for good dive packages. Used them for a couple of years, always outstanding service. For reviews of hotels, see tripadvisor.com. If money is no cost, stay at the Cozumel Palace. If trying to save some bucks, stay at the Scuba Club Cozumel or Caribe Blu. Hopefully, these places and others will still be there by the end of the weekend.

Hope this helps.

Scuba Club would be a good choice for a single diving. It is a mostly inclusive dive resort. What is included is room, 3 meals, a 2 tank dive each day, and unlimited tanks for shore dives.

Try Apple or Funjet. We book our hotel through them....whichever one is cheapest. We have been able to book our own airfare cheaper through Continental, but that is going to depend on where you are flying from. We leave next Saturday....Hotel Cozumel is where we like. Funjet charged $404 this trip, all-inclusive. If you stay there, do the AI plan. It is only $75 more pp. You don't have to eat there every meal....but you will get your money's worth just on breakfast and drinks. Lots of great restaraunts in Cozumel, too, so plan on trying some. Check out the Cozumel forum on here. Go to Forums>>North America>>Mexico>>Cozumel. You will find lots of threads on hotels, dive ops and anything else you need. Dive With Martin is who we use. Keep your fingers crossed they all make it through Hurricane Wilma okay.

lots of great dive ops on cozumel..... stay away from cattle boats. Check out Papahogs: www.papahogs.com

Also, you will want to get the Cozumel map: www.cancunmap.com
its more than a map of the island, it has alll the hotels, reefs, taxi prices, etc.

We use Aldora and love them. They are a little more expensive than some but with the large steel tanks and use of their computers if you dont have one your bottom times are usually over an hour. They also have a villa which is fantastic. you can check them out on: www.aldora.com Kathy in Texas
